Ferraro Arredi Tecnici is an Italian family company that has been producing technical laboratory furniture for 60 years. Our headquarters are in Milan, while the production site, where the company was born and raised, is located in Cairo Montenotte (SV), in Val Bormida. Area also known as the Chemistry Valley as it has hosted large industrial settlements especially in the recent past (Montedison, Acna, Ferrania 3M to name a few).
Ferraro Arredi Tecnici is ISO9001 – ISO14001 – ISO45001 certified with the RINA body, and has certified all its products with the third party Bureau Veritas, guaranteeing adherence to European regulations understood in a more restrictive sense. Over the last 10 years, the company has experienced a notable increase in its turnover and a significant consolidation of its brand on the Italian market, undoubtedly placing itself among the market leaders in the sector.
Today the company has a young and dynamic way of operating, boasting around 50 people who gravitate around the company between the technical and commercial office, administrative office, production, representatives, installers and specialized technicians. Over the last decade, Ferraro Arredi Tecnici has been able to demonstrate significant and constant growth, which today places it among the market leaders on the national market, with a turnover that approximately varies between 5 and 6 million euros per year.
The credit for this growth must certainly be attributed to some important orders recently acquired. The orders managed abroad are also numerous and substantial, both on European territory and in various American and Middle Eastern countries.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
Ferraro Arredi Tecnici is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, and has accredited its company quality system with the RINA certifying body. This means operating within a system managed and regulated by specific rules, which allow the rationalization and control of the work cycle. Both incoming (purchase of raw materials and semi-finished products) and outgoing (finished product destined for the customer) as regards production.
For years now, Ferraro Arredi Tecnici has been operating with an integrated management software system that controls all the technical and commercial components. In fact, the system allows you to manage all phases of the order, from the creation of the estimate, to production, to the purchase of raw materials up to the packaging of the product and the related issuing of the transport document. This allows us to speed up all activities by reducing the number of human problems/errors and improving company performance.
Ferraro Arredi Tecnici has also invested in advanced software programs that allow the 3-dimensional digital design of every part of its products and projects developed for customers, speeding up and optimizing the passage into production of the material linked to each individual order, thanks to a fully automated CAD-CAM process that links the activity of the company’s technical office to the production machines and work centers that the company has in its production headquarters in Cairo Montenotte (SV).
INTERNAL PRODUCTION
All product engineering, from R&D to prototyping, is managed internally by our technical office. The entire part relating to construction drawings is managed with three-dimensional modeling and digital prototyping programs, such as Inventor by Autodesk and related software. As regards the production process, all wooden paneling is produced internally, thanks to the modern machines that make up the carpentry department.
The company, in its main headquarters of over 3,000 m2, is equipped with:
- Paneling warehouse department of over 500 m2.
- Automated panel cutting system with direct collection from the panel warehouse
- High productivity horizontal panel saw connected CAD CAM with the technical office and the company management system
